The Guadalquivir Valley is renowned for the exceptional quality of its land, its extraordinary waters and for its marvellous climate. A remarkable environment that guarantees a unique flavour to the oranges and mandarins 100% organic from Naranjas La Soleá: origin and sustainability make a difference.
In this unique enclave, situated between the provinces of Seville and Cordoba, spread our orchards with approximately 7,000 tonnes of certified organic citrus per season.
How is this enclave unique?
The Guadalquivir Valley is known for its important thermal oscillations between night and day thanks to the proximity of the river. This phenomenon is highly beneficial for our oranges, since the temperature differences between night and day stimulate the fruit to reach higher brix (sweetness) degrees than in other areas of Spain. This is why the oranges from Seville are famous for having “a special flavour”. At Naranjas La Soleá we give that personality to our fruit by taking special care of our orchards at key times throughout the year. The result: the very best citrus from Seville to your table.
Moreover, the rich waters in the area allow us to manage the crop without over exploitation and with maximum respect for the environment.
With respect to water, we have moved one step beyond. Water is a very important resource, so we have incorporated new technologies to gain in water efficiency. Special sensors in our orchards track the irrigation needs of each tree, thus making more efficient use of this essential natural resource.
Oranges and mandarins 100% ecological
Organic farming is not just a “seal” — for us at Naranjas La Soleá it is a way of life and cultivation process. The environment and all its natural components are fully respected. When this is achieved everything is in harmony, which means delicious taste and exceptional quality of all our fruit. Naranjas La Soleá organic fruit tastes much better than conventional fruit.

Regarding the preservation of our fruit, we limit the use of cold stores strictly for pre-cooling the fruit to ensure it reaches its ideal temperature for transportation to destination.
We market our exquisite produce under two main brands, “La Solea Bio” , and “Solvilla” Brands that proudly represent our philosophy as producers as well as our commitment to our planet and our consumers.
